About this guide

Vietnam is long and narrow, and its three regions feel quite different. Where you go for treatment shapes the weather you'll get, the flights you'll take and what you can do between appointments.

Most clinics that treat visiting patients are in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang. Stay close to your clinic, fix the treatment dates before the flights, and fit sightseeing between appointments rather than straight after surgery.
